Full text
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Section 16-308 of title 16 of the administrative code of the city of New York is hereby amended by adding a new subdivision g to read as follows:
g. The department shall provide to any resident of the city, upon request and without charge, a bin appropriate for use by such resident to compost yard waste.
§2. This local law shall take effect immediately upon its enactment into law.
