Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 65 of the New York city charter is amended by adding a new section 2305 to read as follows:
§2305 Assistant commissioner for alternative fuel and accessible transportation. The chairman shall designate a person at the title of assistant commissioner for alternative fuel and accessible transportation. The assistant commissioner for alternative fuel and accessible transportation shall be responsible for reporting to the commission regarding the implementation of all laws, rules and regulations governing alternative fuel and accessible vehicles under the
jurisdiction of the commission.
§ 2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
