Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision two of section 16-118 of the administrative code of the city of New York, is amended by adding a new paragraph c to read as follows: c. A notice of violation of paragraph a of this subdivision may not be issued to any owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or person in charge of any solely residential building or premises unless a complaint or other report alleging a violation of such subdivision relating to that residential building or premises has been received by the department or other government entity designated to receive such complaints and reports. §2. This local law shall take effect thirty days after enactment. LS# 2636 CJC -3/12/07
