Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Subdivision two of section 16-118 of the administrative code of the city of New York, is amended by adding a new paragraph twelve to read as follows:
12. Every person employed by the city of new york who is authorized to issue violations pursuant to this section, except police officers, shall be issued and shall have in their possession while on duty a working digital picture camera. Any such person shall take a picture of the condition warranting the issuance of the violation whenever possible and said pictures shall be included as part of the violation file.
§2. This local law shall become effective one hundred eighty days after enactment.
