Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subsection o of section 20-455 of the administrative code of the city of New York is hereby amended to read as follows: o. No general vendor shall sell [or], offer for sale or display any item directly from any parked or double parked motor vehicle[.], including the roof, hood and/or trunk of the vehicle, nor shall any general vendor display commercial signage, whether affixed to a vehicle or not, advertising or pertaining to items located on or inside any parked or double parked vehicle. No general vendor shall permit a customer or potential customer to enter a vehicle for the purposes of vending an item from said vehicle. §2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
