Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 17-306 of the Administrative Code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subsection t to read as follows: t. “Inspection results placard”. A laminated placard, the form and manner of which shall be determined by rule of the commissioner, issued by the department to the vendor within 72 hours after the completion of a food service establishment inspection. Such placard shall contain a letter grade corresponding to the results of the inspection. §2. Section 17-311 of the Administrative Code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subsection e to read as follows: e. The most recent inspection results placard received by the vendor shall be posted conspicuously on the vending vehicle or pushcart at all times. §3. This local law shall take effect 120 days after its enactment into law, provided, however, that the commissioner shall take any actions necessary prior to such effective date for the implementation of this local law including, but not limited to, the adoption of any necessary rules.
