Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 2 of title 19 of the administrative code of the city of New York section is amended by adding new section 19-216: �19-216. Photo Speed Camera Signage. For purposes of this section, "photo speed violation monitoring system" shall mean a vehicle sensor installed to work in conjunction with a speed measuring device which automatically produces two or more photographs, two or more microphotographs, a videotape or other recorded images of any vehicle at the time it is used or operated in a school speed zone. At any location where one or more photo speed violation monitoring system is in effect, the department shall place one or more signs, visible to traffic approaching from all directions, to warn drivers that such a system is in operation at such location. �2.
