Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 13 of title 17 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 17-1307 to read as follows: � 17-1307 Reports regarding unlicensed child care. Commencing no later than September 17, 2016, and no later than September 17 of each year, the department shall send to the speaker of the council, or shall include in the mayor's management report prepared pursuant to section 12 of the charter, information regarding child care programs, as such term is defined in section 17-1306 of the administrative code, in New York city that includes, at a minimum, the following data concerning child care services during the previous fiscal year, and, to the extent that the department has access to such information, state-regulated family and group family day care homes and school-age child care programs: a. the number of child care programs that are licensed, registered, or permitted, disaggregated by borough and by program type; b. the number of inspections of such child care programs conducted by the department, disaggregated by borough and by program type; c. the number of complaints received by the department regarding child day care providers, as such term is defined in section 390 of the social services law, that lack a license, registration, or permit required for operation as such a child day care provider, disaggregated by the type of child care program and borough in which the provider is located, and the final resolution of each such complaint as applicable; and d. the number of child day care providers, as such term is defined in section 390 of the social services law, that received cease and desist orders from the department or that were otherwise closed due to their unlicensed operation on account of the actions of any city agency. The department shall publish on its website the addresses of the child day care providers, as such term is defined in section 390 of the social services law, that received cease and desist orders from the department or that were otherwise closed due to their unlicensed operation on account of the actions of any city agency. � 2.
