By Council Members Greenfield and Salamanca WHEREAS, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development ("HPD") submitted to the Council on August 11, 2017 its request dated July 31, 2017 that the Council approve an amendment to a previously approved Urban Development Action Area Project and an exemption from real property taxes pursuant to Section 577 of the Private Housing Finance Law (the "Tax Exemption Request") for property located at 3120 Park Avenue (Block 2418, Lot 6) and 451 East 159th Street (Block 2381, Lot 43), Community District Nos. 1 and 3, Borough of the Bronx, Council District No. 17 (the "Project Area" and "Exemption Area"); WHEREAS, the Tax Exemption Request is related to previously approved City Council Resolution No. 939, L.U. No. 406, C 070257 HAX adopted June 27, 2007; and Resolution No. 262, L.U. No. 103, 20105621 HAX adopted May 25, 2010; WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Project on September 5, 2017; WHEREAS, the Council has considered the environmental, land use and financial implications and other policy issues relating to the Project; and WHEREAS, by submission dated November 17, 2017, and submitted to the City Council on November 17, 2017, the Applicant withdrew the application. RESOLVED: The Council approves the motion to file pursuant to withdrawal in accordance with Rules 6.40a, 7.90 and 11.80 of the Rules of the Council. Adopted.
