Summary
This bill would prohibit any person from selling, or distributing for commercial purposes, single use bottles at beaches or parks under the jurisdiction of the City Department of Parks and Recreation. The bill would provide for exceptions to the prohibition in relation to the sale or distribution of single use bottles at large athletic events and events where the sponsor demonstrates that the prohibition would pose a health risk to participants.
