Summary
This bill would establish an interagency task force consisting of the New York City Department of Transportation, Police Department, Department of Finance, a mayoral appointee, and a council appointee to study the prevalence of out-of-state vehicular registration in New York City, and to make recommendations on how to effectively address this problem. The task force would convene for a period of one year and would be required to submit a report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the City Council.
