Summary
The bill would require the Fire Department to issue reports on the Department’s fire alarm inspection unit. This unit is responsible for conducting inspections of fire alarm systems which are required to be installed in certain locations. The bill would specifically require two years of reporting on the staffing of the fire alarm inspection unit, the number of inspections occurring during the prior fiscal year and the time elapsed for the processing and conducting of fire alarm inspections.
