Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Section 14-118 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new subdivision d to read as follows: d. No later than September 1, 2026, the commissioner shall assign at least 1 school crossing guard to each public and private school with students enrolled in any grade from kindergarten to eighth grade. � 2.
