Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section one. Chapter 71 of the charter of the city of New York is hereby amended by the addition of a new section 2907, to follow section 2906, to read as follows: �2907 Parking to be provided. City agencies, and any person, partnership or corporation providing services pursuant to a contract with any city agency, which operate in or from any premises that are owned, leased or licensed by the city or any agency thereof, which agency or contractor uses four or more motor vehicles in the regular course of its business shall provide not less than one off-street parking space for every two motor vehicles so used. �2. This local law shall take effect immediately and shall apply to any space leased or purchased by the city,or any contract entered into by the city for the provision of services, after January l, l991. _______ Note: Matter in italics is new; matter in brackets [ ] to be omitted.
