Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. No later than March 1 of the calendar year following the enactment of this law, the mayor’s office of operations shall produce and transmit to the council a plan describing in detail how the office plans to coordinate the phase-out the use of typewriters for any purpose within all departments and agencies of the city no later than September 1 of the calendar year two years after the enactment of this law. §2. No later than September 1 of the calendar year two years after the enactment of this law, the mayor’s office of operations shall produce and transmit to the council a report on the office’s progress in implementing the phase-out of the use of typewriters detailed in the typewriter phase-out plan. §3.
