Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Subdivision b of section 2604 of the New York city charter is amended by adding a new paragraph 16 to read as follows: 16. No regular employee of the board of elections of the city of New York shall receive compensation for any work performed on behalf of the campaign of any candidate for an elective office of the city or any elected official who is a candidate for any elective office of the city. �2.
