Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 1 of title 18 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 18-148 to read as follows: �18-148 Signage for pesticide application. a. For the purposes of this section, the term "mandatory language" means English and any covered language, as defined by subdivision j of section 8-1002. b. Any sign placed within a property under the jurisdiction of the department regarding pesticide applications shall be posted in all mandatory languages. � 2.
