Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Chapter 1 of title 18 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 18-154 to read as follows: �18-154 Warning signs for pesticide application. The department shall develop and implement a notification service that shall allow persons to subscribe to receive a text message and/or email notice twenty-four hours prior to a planned application of pesticides to any property under the jurisdiction of the department within the community district or districts specified by such person. Such notification shall include, but need not be limited to, the specific time of the planned application, the location or address, if applicable, of the planned application, a description of the type of pesticide to be used for such planned application pursuant to subdivision a of section 17-1207 of the code and the length of time that notices of such application pursuant to subdivision b of section 17-1207 of the code shall be posted at the location of such pesticide application � 2.
