Be it enacted by the Council as follows: Section 1. Article 112 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 28-112.2.1 to read as follows: � 28-112.2.1 Fee exemption for solar installations. No fee shall be required in connection with an application for a street crane permit for the installation on a roof of solar thermal and solar electric (photovoltaic) collectors, panels and/or modules and their supporting equipment. � 2. This local law takes effect 120 days after it becomes law and shall be applicable to any construction documents pending before the department of buildings on such effective date and the commissioner of buildings shall take such measures as are necessary for its implementation, including the promulgation of rules, prior to such effective date.
