Summary
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to develop and implement a citywide diabetes incidence and impact reduction plan. DOHMH would be required to report annually on the number of adults with diabetes in NYC and on its strategies and efforts to reduce the incidence and impact of diabetes.
