Summary
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to develop and implement a public awareness campaign and conduct outreach on mental health and behavioral health programs in New York City that provide low-cost and no-cost services, specifically to those who do not qualify for health insurance based on federal guidelines. The awareness campaign and outreach would include explanations on how individuals can access services, such as through referrals from primary care providers.
