Subchapter 3 of chapter 1 of title 19 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 19-192 to read as follows: � 19-192 Discounted bike share rate for CUNY students. a. Definitions. As used in this section, the following terms have the following meanings: Bike share operator. The term "bike share operator" means the company operating the bike share program under a contract entered into through the department. Bike share program. The term "bike share program" means the program through which public bicycles are provided for shared use within the city under a contract between the department and the bike share operator that permits payment for the use of such bicycles. CUNY. The term "CUNY" means the city university of New York. b. The department shall require the provision of a discounted rate for participation in the bike share program for CUNY students as part of the bike share program. � 2.
