Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section 1. Article 103 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 28-103.24 to read as follows:
� 28-103.24 E-mail notice of construction project updates. In conjunction with any service offered through any department website that provides regularly updated information regarding the status of individual construction projects filed with the department, the department shall provide, free of charge, a service allowing users of such website to register to receive an automated e-mail notification each time a change in status is recorded with respect to one or more construction projects selected by such a user.
� 2. This local law shall take effect ninety days after it is enacted.
